This very old château was used until recently to accommodate a community. It could host up to 90 people.
Its interior layout reflects its last usage: it consists of numerous small rooms (cells) equipped with a washbasin, shared sanitary facilities, large meeting rooms, a very spacious refectory and a communal kitchen, as well as some offices, spread over two floors.

The château originally consisted of an isolated keep with a five-storey square tower, crowned with castlelations, with mullioned windows, and an adjoining round stair tower. Adjacent to this tower are large outbuildings used by a religious congregation.

Most of the building dates from the late Gothic period, and one can still see the oval crown of a tower and a doric column topped by an entablature.

This castle belonged to a former branch of the Morlhon family established in Villefranche-de-Rouergue : the Morlhon-Veuzac (the other being that of Sanvensa).

In 1256, this castle passed into the hands of the bishop of Rodez.
The keep of Veuzac is the only remaining part of the Morlhon castle restored in the 17th century.

This castle could be developed for a community or for a cultural project. It could also become a home again with some major interior works.
